Grass Field Rules
The big grass field is available after 4:30 Monday
through Friday and all day Saturday and Sunday.
The small grass field is available after 10a.m.
Monday through Friday and all day Saturday and Sunday.
You may turn your horse out for as long as you
wish, as long as no one else is waiting to use them, the limit then is 30
minutes. If your turn out time is over, and another client is waiting to
use the field, then offer to bring your horse in. Under NO circumstances
may you leave the ranch if your horse is out in either field.
If your horse is on either field, you must be readily available to other
clients so they can find you to request the field. If the ranch is asked
to remove the horse, the owner will be charged $10.
Do not turn your horse out if the field is already occupied unless you
have permission from the other owner(s).
Do not ride, exercise, lunge or chase your horse
when out in the field.
You may turn your horse out a maximum of 3 times per week. If you are able
to turn them out during the week, please do so, as the weekends are the
busiest time. Try to leave the fields available to those that are unable
to turnout during the week.
The ranch is able to turn your horse out for you at a charge of $4.00.
The communal pens are turned out on the big field Monday and Tuesday.
There is no charge for this service.
Please close BOTH gates immediately after using the big field, but the
gate to the small field may remain open when empty.
Both fields are irrigated and can be slippery when wet. There are also
ground squirrel and gopher holes. Turn your horse out at your own risk.
The ranch does not accept responsibility for accidents or injuries on
either field.
Please be considerate and respect these rules, continually ignoring
them will end your access to both fields.
